FAQ
Downloading
How do I access my digital sewing pattern download?
After purchasing a sewing pattern, an email will be sent with the order confirmation and links to download all the files. If you can’t locate the email in your inbox, check your spam folder. Furthermore, you can log in and see all files in the “Downloads” section if you setup an account on our website.
I used the wrong email on my purchase, what do I do?
Simply message us with your name and email address used for the purchase so we can access your order information! Then, we can send the files to your new email address.
I can't access or have not received my pattern
You’ll be able to access all your downloads when you log into your PFL account on the website, or click the download link in the email. Sometimes the email gets sent to your spam folder, so be sure to check there.
How long does it take to receive my pattern?
Our digital sewing patterns are available for instant download once the payment is processed!
If you encounter any issues with the download process, please contact us and we'll respond promptly.
Printing
I cannot open the file because it is password protected, how can I open and print?
We highly recommend to open the files through Adobe Acrobat or Preview program instead of any other Adobe programs such as Illustrator. This way you can select the size you want to print out and the file does not require a password to open.
How do I print the patterns?
To print the patterns, use A4 or US Letter paper size at 100% scale, with the printer set to "actual size,” and all resize or adjustment options disabled.
If using the A0 pattern size, send the file to a print shop that offers large-format printing.
To print specific sizes, use Adobe Acrobat program to open the sewing pattern and select only the size you would like to print out.
If you are having problems printing the sewing patterns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
I don't have a printer can I still buy your pattern?
Of course! All of our sewing patterns include A0, A4 and US-Letter page sizes that can be easily printed at any local copy store.
What paper can I use to print the pattern?
Print 100% to scale when printing the A4 or US letter pdf pattern at home. Each download includes four documents (instruction booklet, A0, A4 and US-Letter)
A0 is for printing on large scale printers.
We do not recommend printing the instruction booklet because it will use excessive ink and paper.
Sewing Pattern Details
Which size should I choose?
We suggest comparing your standard size with the PFL Sizing Guide, as well as the instruction booklet for specific details about the fit of each pattern.
Is the seam allowance included?
Yes, all our sewing patterns include seam allowance wherever needed to simplify the design. You can find the seam allowance details in the “Patterns” section of the instruction booklet.
